What I'll do

I will take you through the process of purchasing a domain name, selecting a web host and show you how to set up your own email accounts.

After telling me all about your preferred styles, colours, design details and target market, you should provide me with an outline of the content that you wish to publish, including images and a copy of your logo. Supplied copy will be proof-read and copy-edited one time free of charge. I will then help you organise your content into a viable site structure consisting of different sections or pages.

Image editing and optimisation is included for a maximum of 10 images. If you wish to publish more than 10 images then image editing will be charged as an extra (see image editing). Original images should be of a high quality in order to give your users the best possible online experience.

What happens next

Three bespoke original concept designs will be created for you from which you can select one design for further development.

Once you have signed off the chosen design, I will take your site into development using HTML and accessible CSS. After testing to ensure maximum cross-browser support I will upload the site using FTP (details to be provided after web host set up) and provide you with a disc containing your website.

If you have a large site then we can create separate page designs based on a single unified look.

After coding, your website will be thoroughly tested for cross-browser support before uploading to your server via FTP. You will also receive a disc containing your website files.

About the service

Already got a website but it's looking dated and it needs an overhaul?

Already have a website and happy in the main with the look but it's in need of a spring clean, colour change or spruce up? It's possible - send a link to your website and indicate what you do and don't like as well as what you would like done and I'll send you a quote.

Remember, if you don't like most of the things about your website, then it may be easier to do a complete re-design.

About content updates

No content management system and getting a headache trying to update your site?

If you know your FTP details for uploading to your web host's server then I can update your site for you.

Text changes

It's really easy to use the text changes & updates service...

Simply indicate the items you want changing, send through the new copy and I will proof-read it to ensure there are no spelling or major grammatical errors before changing the items for you.

If you need content copywriting services then this can be arranged (at an extra cost) through one of our pro writing partners.

Image changes

Replacing old images or finding space for new ones.

Send through high resolution copies of the images you want to use and I will web-optimise them and do a simple photographic retouch or colour correction if neccessary and then post them in the indicated position.
